Learn About My Journey
I’ve spent over a decade designing engaging, accessible learning experiences for adult learners in both higher education and workforce development settings. Along the way, I’ve partnered with institutions like Columbia University, Rutgers University, and the New Jersey Institute of Technology to build courses and trainings that blend strategy, creativity, and care.
My strengths include:
Designing interactive content using tools like Camtasia, Vyond, Articulate, and WellSaid Labs
Leading needs assessments and developing scalable, learner-centered training solutions
Coaching faculty on online pedagogy and instructional best practices
Streamlining LMS migrations and establishing multimedia workflows that increase efficiency
Managing complex projects from planning through implementation, ensuring clear communication, on-time delivery, and high-quality results
At the Institute for Families at Rutgers, I led initiatives that trained thousands of learners annually, introducing emerging technologies to enhance both content delivery and learner engagement. I’m especially proud of my work at NJIT, where I co-created a post-orientation survey for subject matter experts, clarifying expectations, aligning goals, and strengthening collaboration across instructional design projects.
Now, through Boise State University's Workplace E-Learning Design and Development program, I continue to refine my skills and stay ahead of trends in the evolving field of instructional design, particularly in the thoughtful integration of new technologies, including AI.
